S10+
An interactive experience
to educate and inspire.
After delivering RFP concepts, we were awarded the opportunity to create a globally deployed retail experience app for Samsung’s flagship device, the S10+. This was the third retail experience app that my team was invited to produce.
The project started with rounds of traditional up front concept creation based on client defined key points of interest to create a story behind the content that we would need to generate. After honing in on our story, shoot locations and talent, the content was created through a combination of live action photo/video shoots, in-studio product photography as well as 3d animation and motion graphics. With device secrecy being the at most priority, our creative team worked under lock and key with client security in a clean room environment. This meant no cell or internet connectivity, all sharing an internal server to create the experience.
With all team members running in tandem, we continued to lock in the experience flow, interface elements, menu and specification screens as well as interactive demos to showcase elevated device features. The end result was an intuitive and immersive design system within the Samsung design language, showcasing key points of interest as defined by the client.
